Lyz is an Ojibwe-Anishinaabe teaching artist, musician, and composer. Living on her home reservation in Northern Minnesota with her family, she makes music with those around her.

Ojibwe Music or Culture Workshops
For educators wanting to learn about Ojibwe-Anishinaabe people, culture, history and music. Lyz can work with small or large groups of educators and administration
Commissions
Teachers, schools, districts or other organizations can commission Lyz to write music for them. Lyz has written numerous pieces of music in the following genres: Art song, Traditional Ojibwe songs, Blues, SATB Choral, small ensemble Opera, musical theater and film.
Ojibwe Music & Culture classes
For teachers or schools who want some help teaching their students about Native music from Minnesota. Lyz can come in for one class, one day or for a residency.
Media Production
Lyz is a Jill-of-many-trades. With formal training in music, and on the job training in film, there are a number of way she can contribute to a creative team.
